Azerbaijan ranked 67th among 127 countries in the World Economic
Forum`s Global Information Technology Report 2007-2008, Azerbaijan
Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies said.


The World Economic Forum`s 2006-2007 report placed Azerbaijan the 71st among 122 countries.


Azerbaijan moved ahead of such countries as Bulgaria, Ukraine,
Kazakhstan, Russia, Vietnam, Argentina, Philippines, Pakistan, Moldova,
as well as Armenia (106th) and Georgia (91st), to become a leader among
CIS countries.


Top ten countries include Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, USA, Singapore, Finland, Netherlands, Iceland, Korea and Norway.
